How we handle your information

This page is maintained by OutdoorPro Connect to answer common security and privacy questions about how the platform works. It describes the controls currently in place — it is not a certification or independent audit.

What we collect

When you request a quote, we collect:

  • Your name, email address, and phone number
  • The service address, city, and ZIP code for the project
  • The service type and any details or photos you share

We use this information to match your request with contractors who serve your area and to let the matched contractor contact you about the job.

Who can see your information

  • Our admin team can see every quote request in order to review and dispatch leads.
  • Contractors only see your name, email, phone, and address after they have either claimed your lead from their dashboard or accepted a one-time dispatch link sent by our admin. Until then they can only see the service type, the city/ZIP, and any non-personal project details.
  • Photos you upload are stored in a private bucket and are only visible to the contractor once they have claimed your lead, plus the admin team.

How access is enforced

Access rules are enforced by the database itself (row-level security), not just in the app. Each contractor request to read a lead is checked against these rules on every query, so a contractor cannot bypass the UI to see information they would not normally see.

Dispatch links generated by the admin contain a unique single-use token, expire automatically after 2 hours if not accepted, and lock the lead to one contractor once accepted. If the contractor does not confirm contact within 1 hour after accepting, the lead is released back to the platform.

Authentication

Accounts use email/password or Google sign-in. Passwords are hashed and never visible to us. Admin and contractor permissions are stored in a dedicated roles table that users cannot edit themselves.

Subprocessors

We use Lovable Cloud (powered by Supabase) for our database, authentication, and file storage. We use Lovable AI for AI-assisted lead intake and scoring. We do not sell your personal information.

Reporting a security issue

If you believe you've found a security issue, please contact us right away at the number below or reply to any email you've received from us. We will investigate promptly.
