Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 18, 2026. This Policy explains how Pro-Connect (“we,” “us”) handles personal information collected through the Pro-Connect website and services. It is a starting template and should be reviewed by your attorney before publication.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers & contact: name, email address, phone number, service address, city, ZIP.
  • Project info: service type, project details, photos you upload, property type.
  • Account info (Pros): business name, trade(s), service areas, license/insurance info you provide.
  • Communications: messages you send us, call/SMS records related to your request.
  • Technical: IP address, browser type, device, pages viewed, timestamps, cookies and similar technologies.

2. How we use it

  • To match your request with qualified local Pros.
  • To enable the matched Pro to contact you about your project.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the service.
  • To send transactional messages (lead status, account notifications) and, with consent, marketing messages.
  • To comply with law and to investigate fraud, abuse, or policy violations.

3. Who we share it with

  • Matched Pros receive your full contact and project information after they claim or accept your lead. Before that, they only see non-personal project details (service type, city/ZIP).
  • Service providers that host our platform, send email/SMS, or process payments, under contracts that limit their use of your data.
  • Legal & safety authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may “share” it with matched Pros as described above; California residents can opt out — see Section 7 and our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember form state. We may also use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the site is used. We do not use advertising cookies at this time. If we add them, we will update this Policy and provide a cookie banner where required.

5. Data retention

We keep lead and account data for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations (typically up to 7 years for transactional records). Photos and project details for closed leads may be retained in summary form for analytics. You can request deletion at any time (see Section 7).

6. Security

Access to data is controlled at the database layer using row-level security. Passwords are hashed. Photos are stored in private storage accessible only to the matched Pro and admins. No method is 100% secure; please report any concern using the contact below.

7. Your rights

Depending on your state (e.g., California, Colorado, Virginia, Texas) you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we hold about you.
  • Request a copy or correction.
  • Request deletion.
  • Opt out of “sale” or “sharing” — see our Do Not Sell or Share page.
  • Opt out of SMS by replying STOP, or marketing email by using the unsubscribe link.
  • Appeal a denied request by replying to our response email.

To exercise these rights, email mohono99@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

8. Children

The service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date.
