Lead Refund & Dispute Policy

Effective June 2026. We send real leads from real homeowners — but sometimes a lead doesn’t pan out. This page explains exactly when you get a credit refund and how to ask for one.

When a lead is refundable

We’ll credit your account in full for any lead that meets one of these:
  • Bad contact info. Phone is disconnected, email bounces, or the address doesn’t exist.
  • Outside your service area or trade. The job is for a service or city you don’t offer (we route by your profile, but homeowner edits can slip through).
  • Duplicate lead. Same homeowner, same job, charged twice within 30 days.
  • Spam, prank, or competitor. Lead is from another contractor, an agent fishing for info, or obvious bot-fill data.
  • Wrong urgency. Lead is marked “ready now” but the homeowner says they’re researching for next year.

What is NOT refundable

We don’t refund when:
  • You couldn’t reach the homeowner (call & text both required within 24h).
  • The homeowner chose a different contractor.
  • The project scope changed after you quoted.
  • Your price was over the homeowner’s budget.
  • You waited more than 7 days to file the dispute.

How to file a dispute

  1. Open the lead in your pro dashboard and click Dispute.
  2. Select a reason and add a brief note (e.g. “number disconnected, tried 3 times”).
  3. If applicable, attach screenshots of failed call attempts or bounced email.
  4. We respond within 2 business days. Approved disputes are credited within 24 hours of approval.

Deadline: file disputes within 7 calendar days of receiving the lead. After that, we can’t verify the contact attempts.

Quality guarantee

We score and verify every lead before you see it. If our automated screening misses something obvious (e.g. clearly fake name or unrelated trade), the dispute is approved immediately — no back-and-forth.
